Volunteer Coaches Registration

In Pennsylvania, youth sports coaches, both paid and volunteer, require specific background clearances for child protection purposes. These clearances include a PA Child Abuse History Check, a PA Criminal Record Check, and an FBI clearance. Additionally, coaches are required to complete concussion training and Safe Sport training. HASA Is always looking for new coaches. Please consider volunteering!

 

Steps to obtain clearances to become a coach:

1. PA State Police - Access to Criminal History

2. PA Child Abuse History Check

3. FBI Affidavit of Compliance

4. CDC Heads Up Concussion Training (Launch Course through your GotSport Dashboard)

5. SafeSport Training (Launch Course through your GotSport Dashboard)

6. EPYSA Risk Management Form (Signed through your GotSport Dashboard)
